The path starts at the end of the car park. Follow the GR Tour de Chartreuse (yellow and red) signs to the «Habert de Bovinant». Take the path that leaves the track on the right (1). At the Habert de Bovinant, follow «Le Grand Som» (2). From this point, it will take you about 2 hours to get to the the top and to come back on yourself, with some challenging passages. At the Col de Bovinant, turn right and follow the yellow signs to the top. For the way down, follow «La Correrie». At the junction «1,530 m», follow «Pas du Loup» (3) and «Col de La Ruchère». The Pas du Loup is a challenging passage. If you want to go down in an easier and in a more direct way, keep following «La Correrie». At the Col de la Ruchère (4), follow «La Correrie».
