The warm-up on the plateau will allow you to calmly tackle the short climb to the old canal.
From there, the smooth path will take you to La Posterle, where you'll quickly dive to the bottom of the gorge along a wide trail to cool off a bit.
After following the river, you'll steadily climb back through the forests planted there to slow erosion, then brush against the banks of Lake Sautet.

The steady climb will eventually bring you to the hamlet of Vieux Pellafol, nestled away from the wind and the crowds. From there, the plateau will unsurprisingly bring you back to the start.
Marking : Blue Marking No. 22 (Souloise Gorges - Sector No. 6) The routes follow the hiking network, and Trail markers are posted on directional posts. In addition to the specific Trail signage, use the directional signs and markers on the ground to guide your path.
