Le Mont Noir est le col cyclable le plus haut du Vercors. L'itinéraire par Saint-Pierre de Chérennes est probablement l'ascension la plus difficile du massif. Emprunté en 2018 par le Critérium du Dauphiné, il avait été classé Col Hors Catégorie.
