To encourage encounters and interaction between different nature enthusiasts, hunters make their huts available as rest stops during your outings in the countryside. Whether you’re hiking, cycling or horse-riding, you can take a break and find a picnic table, a tie-up post for horses and bicycles, and various facilities (water and shelter are sometimes available).
These facilities, which are made available free of charge, are known as ‘Relais Cyné’, a reference to the term ‘cynégétique’, which refers to activities related to hunting. When you visit, you are therefore likely to come across hunters, who will welcome you to their premises as is customary. There are around thirty huts scattered throughout the department: find their locations on the Isère Outdoor app!
The interiors of some huts are accessible; you’ll need to ring the site manager to get the keys. (Information on Isère Outdoor).

Are you planning a trip into the countryside?
Would you like to find out about the collective hunting areas (or driven hunts) currently active in Isère?
Hunters in Isère have the information you need! In addition to the statutory and mandatory road signs, some hunters report their driven hunt areas online, in real time.
Find their locations on Isère Outdoor, under the ‘hunting areas’ section.

Using this information, you can choose to stay on your planned route or adjust it to avoid the marked hunting areas.
Please note: It is compulsory to signpost a driven hunt in the field (with signs), but not on the app. Some driven hunts may therefore not appear on it. Stay alert! »
