Welcome to the refuge of Font Turbat, nestled at the bottom of the valley of Valjouffrey, one of the most confidential of the Ecrins! At the foot of the impressive north face of the Olan, come to eat and sleep in this little cocoon in the heart of a wild nature.
Getting there : From the car park of Le Désert en Valjoufrey, take the path going east through the hamlet of Les Charmettes and continue along the brook in the bottom of the valley. You encounter a first waterfall, then the cascade de la Pisse at the place called La Ferrière. After a while you pass close to the cabin of Châtellerat, keep going along the trail. Once arrived at the cabin of La Maye, you almost get to the refuge of Font-Turbat.
